Landscapes in the Making
A Group Exhibition of Five Taiwanese Artists

From October 21 to December 27, 2026, Donna Art Huashan presents Landscapes in the Making, a group exhibition featuring five Taiwanese artists: CHOU Cheng Wei, LU Fang, FU Hau Shiuan, Yu Chuan, and WANG Ting Yu. Drawing on the city, nature, and everyday life, the exhibition brings together distinct ways of seeing and approaches to painting.

CHOU Cheng Wei’s depiction of Taipei 101 serves as the exhibition’s visual starting point. Through his framing and meticulous rendering, a familiar landmark reveals details that often escape our everyday attention. From this point of departure, the exhibition considers landscape as an experience continually taking shape. Observation, personal memory, and imagination meet in the acts of making and viewing, allowing ordinary subjects to acquire new meaning.

Coinciding with Taipei Art Week 2026, Donna Art invites visitors to slow down at Huashan and explore the works of these five artists, discovering how landscapes change through the ways we see them and continue to unfold with each encounter.
