Chora: A Feminine Space takes its point of departure from the Platonic notion of chora—not a fixed place, but a generative space where memories, bodies, and material forms continually encounter and transform one another. Bringing together works by Hsieh Hung-Chun, Chen Yen-Ling, Lo Yi-Chun, Chen Chia-Yi, Marina Cruz, Patricia Eustaquio, Ana Maria Micu, and Andreea Medar, the exhibition presents eight women artists from Taiwan, the Philippines, and Romania whose practices span painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Through distinct artistic languages, they engage with memory, embodiment, materiality, and lived experience, unfolding diverse perspectives on femininity, existence, and becoming. Rather than presenting individual narratives in isolation, the exhibition creates a constellation of resonant voices across cultures and generations. As each work reflects, responds to, and expands upon another, Chora emerges as a shared space of connection—one that invites viewers to experience femininity not as a singular identity, but as an ever-evolving force of creation, care, and transformation.
