Notes #15 marks Huang Kai-Hsin's fifteenth solo exhibition and continues her long-standing practice of developing ideas from sketchbook “notes.” Featuring paintings in oil, mixed media, and contemporary ink, the exhibition explores the shifting relationships between perception, consciousness, and visual experience. Through open-ended abstract compositions, Huang transforms inner states into immersive pictorial spaces that invite multiple interpretations. The exhibition also includes The Evolution of View and Humble Bee, two series that respectively examine the dialogue between abstraction and representation, and reflect on humility through subtle humor and life experience.
