In conjunction with Lu Jyun-Han’s solo exhibition WORLDS APART, ASTAR GALLERY will reconstruct the artist’s "mobile studio" within the gallery, packing up the slow-paced lifestyle of Hualien and bringing it into the fast-paced heart of Taipei. Echoing the spirit of "Velocity" at Taipei Art Week, the gallery will faithfully recreate Lu's inspiration hub in Hualien, showcasing his work-in-progress canvases, tools, and inspiration walls to the public with total transparency. Lu Jyun-Han will also lead personal guided tours, inviting visitors to experience the healing power of Eastern Taiwan’s mountains and seas through the unique lens of an artist. In the past, Lu Jyun-Han’s creative process relied on hunting for inspiration during hasty trips, capturing fleeting landscapes along the way. It wasn't until he picked up golf that things shifted. Walking slowly across the fairways and looking down to search for his ball, he let that little white ball guide him to stunning, unfamiliar scenery. That was the moment he realized the most captivating visuals are always hidden in the moments when we slow down. The everyday landscapes once missed in his hurried travels have finally revealed their most gentle, playful, and charming forms through this "slow and leisurely" rhythm.
