The Wordwave Festival is a signature event independently organized by the Huashan 1914 Creative Park. From reading and reciting to communal reading, the festival guides us into an experiential base where literature and creativity seamlessly intertwine.
The year 2026 marks the centenary of the naming of Taiwanese Penglai rice. Rooted in this legacy, this year's Wordwave Festival channels the island’s vibrant terroir through four themed sections: "The Type-Breeders," "Terroir Dining Table," "Love Letters from the Good Earth," and "A Grain of Rice on Duty." Through these diverse lenses, the Taiwan envisioned by creators comes to life, inviting the visitors to discover their own moment of resonance.
Everyone carries a landscape of Taiwan in their heart, a beautiful piece of land etched in memory. Come to the Wordwave Festival to share your story and connect through our deep affection for this land.
