People continuously endow the body with various meanings; it carries expectations of the self and harbors the pursuit of perfection and transcendence. BODY! BODY! BODY! cries out: the body we possess, the body we try to transform, and the body we worship. We chase after ideals, and unwittingly, are reshaped by them.
Through iterative computation and derivation, positioned between the abstract and the figurative, complex forms resembling the human body gradually emerge. Hardness mimics softness, transparency sustains weight, and cold surfaces pull on one another, reassembling traces of the body.
Perhaps we return to the body time and again simply because within it, there is always a self that has yet to arrive.
