On the broad pedestrian walkway along Zhongxiao East Road, facing the Taipei Dome, one will discover 《The Pulse of the Flow》— a vibrant piece of street furniture hidden among the trees. This public artwork was jointly created by Fundesign and the German urban art collective Tape That Collective.
Composed of lines of varying widths and densities, the work forms undulating zones for rest, becoming one of the focal points of the plaza. The interwoven patterns resemble traces of memory — sometimes dense, sometimes sparse — symbolizing the cohesion, unity, and collective cheers within the space. In this way, the artwork embodies a dual role: passing on existing memories while embracing the creation of new ones.
