Founded in 2000, the O-Bank Education Foundation (O-BankEF) is dedicated to advancing education, the arts, and social engagement under the guiding principles of Learning, Innovation, and Sustainability. More than a grant-making organization, the Foundation serves as a long-term platform that nurtures talent, connects communities, and preserves cultural value by bringing together education, artists, the private sector, and society.

The Foundation began by promoting entrepreneurship through the WeWin Entrepreneurship Competition, one of Taiwan's pioneering startup initiatives. Over a decade, the competition attracted more than 5,000 participants and contributed to the establishment of 23 startup companies, encouraging innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among young people. Building on this commitment to talent development, the Foundation has gradually expanded its mission to include arts education, cultural participation, and heritage preservation.

Today, the Foundation fulfills this mission through three interconnected platforms.

Since 2010, the Foundation has organized the annual Stars of TiDing program to support emerging artists. In 2022, the initiative evolved into Stars of TiDing 2.0, expanding beyond project grants to include professional mentoring, curatorial guidance, exhibitions, performances, and educational programs. Through this long-term platform, the Foundation has supported more than 1,000 emerging artists across the visual arts, music, and the performing arts, accompanying them from creative practice to professional development.

The Foundation also operates the O-Bank Concert Hall and O-Bank Art Gallery, located within the O-Bank Group headquarters in Taipei's Neihu District. Over the years, these venues have become one of the district's leading cultural destinations, presenting exhibitions, concerts, lectures, and interdisciplinary programs throughout the year. By opening a corporate space to the public, the Foundation creates opportunities for artists, audiences, educators, businesses, and local communities to connect through culture.

In 2022, the Foundation launched the Museum of Taiping Elementary School Project, transforming a school campus into an open platform for arts education and cultural preservation. Centered on Huang Tu-Shui's Bust of a Girl, the project integrates collection management, museum practice, educational programs, and community engagement, demonstrating how cultural heritage can become a living resource that inspires learning and connects generations.

Looking ahead, the O-Bank Education Foundation will continue to strengthen partnerships across education, the arts, and the private sector while expanding opportunities for public participation. By connecting education, artists, communities, and the private sector, the Foundation strives to build an open platform where creativity can grow, cultural values can be shared, and arts education can flourish across generations.
