The house was built in 1913‒14 during Japanese rule by Chan Ti-au-chun, a Daitōtei tea merchant, and ACME team officially took over Yuanshan Villa which is a historical building in Taipei from 2021. This rare Tudor-style building sits quietly on the banks of the Keelung River, spanning more than a century of elegance. In the past, it was the mansion of a legendary tea merchant in Dadaocheng. ACME team re-positioned it as a modern mansion emerge live house that integrates old and new.
