Fei Hwang Art is located at Songshan district, Taipei. It is a member of Taiwan Art Gallery Association. Across the years, the gallery is dedicated to promoting the Taiwanese and Chinese contemporary arts, presenting four to six exhibitions annually. It has been actively participating in the promising art fairs in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong, persistent in becoming an international platform of exchanges and dialogues. Under the context of globalization, it aims to rediscover the contemporary art of values and cultures of Eastern art.
With four to six exhibitions annually integrating multiple resources including galleries, institutions, artists and curators, the objectives are to establish a professional art gallery reaffirmed by artists and collectors, present art of high quality and explore the expanding boundaries of variety and diversity with contemporary art. By paying close attention to contemporary artists in Taiwan and China, the gallery works to discover and support young talents, provide opportunities of exhibitions, and improve the exchanges of contemporary arts between China and Taiwan. Furthermore, it will reconsider Taiwan’s positioning in the contemporary art history and embody the state of contemporary aesthetics in Asia.
The gallery is rather a small space, but each exhibition is carefully curated and pursues a higher standard. We relentlessly recommend forward-looking and emerging artists in Asia to collectors in various regions and nurture local artists of young generation to gain wider attention. The contribution is made to the prosperity and progress of the local art industry.
Bearing in mind the goal of rooting itself in local earth and embracing broad international vision, Fei Hwang Art and the strategic partner Show Art in Australia has collaborated on an exhibition at an international art fair, Le Salon ART CAPITAL at Grand Palais, Paris, France. This experience symbolizes an indispensable milestone for the art in Asia to join the art market in Europe and the US.
