Korean artist KOO Bon-a’s latest solo exhibition, Poetry on the Wall, presents a selection of representative works that invites viewers to trace her artistic trajectory and the inner currents of her thought. Here, the “wall” is not a barrier, but an imagined field where multiple temporalities meet — past and future, the man-made and the natural, the finite and the infinite. Layer by layer, the artist builds with hanji (Korean mulberry paper), quietly applying ink, color washes, and powdered pigments to leave meditative traces. Following these traces, audiences are encouraged to reflect on the paths already taken while gazing toward — and imagining — futures yet to arrive.
