About Taipei Art Week

“Taipei Art Week” was launched in 2024 by Ms. Chen Ching-Ying, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Taiwan Art Gallery Association. The initiative aims to establish the most anticipated visual arts event every October. By connecting galleries, museums, art institutions, and artist studios across the city of Taipei, and combining these with international forums, Taipei Art Week aspires to become a vital platform for global exchange and market expansion. The birth of this brand reflects Taiwan’s ambition to become an international art hub, enhancing the global visibility of its artists and gallery industry, while actively fostering international collaboration within the arts sector.

Building on the success of its debut during ART TAIPEI in 2024, the second edition of Taipei Art Week in 2025 will expand significantly. Spanning 8 districts and 8 thematic projects, the event brings together 63 galleries, 17 museums, and numerous key art institutions and foundations throughout Taipei—mobilizing over 100 cultural organizations in total. With deeper dialogue between art and the city and a broader international perspective, Taipei Art Week 2025 invites global and local audiences to immerse themselves in a vibrant celebration of contemporary art throughout the city.

Taiwan Art Gallery Association (TAGA)

Established in 1992, TAGA aims to integrate resources within the gallery sector and promote the development of Taiwan’s art market. The association has three main departments: the Administrative Center, Art Fairs, and the Taipei Art Industry Research Office. Each is responsible for member services, organizing domestic and international art fairs, and conducting art industry research and policy promotion. TAGA’s annual “ART TAIPEI” fair has become a key international art event in Asia, promoting Taiwan’s art industry and the prosperity of the gallery sector through local exhibitions and industry research.
Taipei Art Week 2025 Visual Identity Concept

Kaleidoscope

Building on the success of its debut, Taipei Art Week 2025 adopts “Kaleidoscope” as its central theme to reflect multiculturalism and inclusivity. Just like the shifting reflections within a kaleidoscope, Taipei embodies a city of constant evolution and innovation, nurturing boundless art and a culture of fusion.
Keywords such as “Eclectic,” “Fusion,” “Remix,” “Diversity,” and “Inclusion” run through the entire visual design, echoing the spirit of interdisciplinary dialogue and cultural convergence in art. The dynamic visual language resembles a grand celebration, inviting the public to immerse themselves in the vibrant world of art. Through vivid colors and richly layered geometric compositions, the visuals explore the infinite possibilities of art, setting the stage for 2025’s extraordinary artistic celebration.
