Liang Gallery

The 32-year-old Liang Gallery was founded in 1993 by Directors Yu Yen-Liang and Claudia Chen. Claudia Chen is currently The Chairman of the Taiwan Art Gallery Association. Located in Neihu Technology Park in Taipei and based in a three-story building of 2000 square meters, Liang Gallery organizes exhibitions of different themes every month. Since its founding, the primary aim of the gallery has been to promote academic research and exhibitions of Taiwanese art. Gradually, international exhibition exchange has also become one of the main objectives of the gallery. The gallery promotes Taiwanese artists of the early 20th century, the most representative modern artists, post-war abstract ink-wash artists, and contemporary artists, thus focusing on the significance of the era of art and the social aspects of visual art. Yi Yun Art Qingtian

Yi Yun Art was established in 2016 on Taipei’s artistic and historical Qingtian Street. With a focus on “contemporary interpretations of classic eastern aesthetics,” Yi Yun Art has explored the impacts and boundaries between classic and contemporary ideas throughout the six years since its establishment. Yi Yun Art focuses on 20th-century Asian calligraphy and painting, as well as contemporary artists, exploring ways of positioning artists in the context of art history and new chapters of ink art and calligraphy, introducing contemporary artworks with eastern undertones while presenting rich perspectives for aesthetic appreciation. Yi Yun Art stresses the connection between art and life, spaces and people, and attempts to include the senses in its curations. ESLITE GALLERY

In 1989, ESLITE GALLERY was founded along with the eslite bookstore in Taipei. It was the first to dedicate itself to contemporary and modern Chinese art in Taiwan. The gallery represents major international artists as well as rising young artists from Greater China, including Cai Guo-Qiang, Liu Xiaodong, Michael Lin, Zhan Wang, Xu Bing, Su-Mei Tse, Kuang-Yu Tsui and Wong Hoy Cheong, among others. ESLITE also collaborates with overseas art spaces and organizations to offer a wide range of exciting works for collectors. National Palace Museum

The history between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party contributed to the relocation of National Palace Museum (NPM) artifacts to Taiwan and the artifacts subsequently becoming a crucial part of Taiwan's culture. A review of the NPM's history shows that it has inherited China's national culture spanning thousands of years and shoulders the responsibility of preserving and publicizing artifacts. Most of the artifacts from the NPM's collection came from Preparatory Department of the National Central Museum. Of the said artifacts, the majority was previously owned by the Jehol and Shenyang temporary palaces. This signifies that the NPM's current artifact collection contains Qing court artifacts from The Palace Museum, the Jehol temporary palace, and the Shenyang temporary palace. Read more

Jut Art Museum

Jut Land Development's 30th anniversary, and the Jut Foundation for Arts and Architecture (JFAA)'s 10th birthday, culminates in the establishment of the Jut Art Museum (JAM) in 2016. It is a milestone commemorating the history of Taiwan's architectural aesthetics. We anticipate that JAM to act as a new form of platform, catalyst and think tank devoted to corporate social responsibility fulfillment and addressing the societal dynamics of the 21st century. Hong Foundation

Since its founding in 1971, the Hong Foundation had invested in promoting education and fostering culture in the fields of literature, history, philosophy and music. It has established the iconic "Shu Ping Shu Mu Review of Books and Bibliography," the Hong Foundation Audiovisual Library, the Culture For Business Academy and Minlong Forum, leading the way in cultural and educational innovation at the time. After 2000, the foundation broadens its scope to contemporary art. Through commissions and direct sponsorships, the foundation provides sponsorship programs of varying scales to artists working at various stages of their careers. In 2023, the foundation collaborates with Rijksakademie, the international artist residency, to establish scholarships for Taiwan art projects.
