Bluerider ART Gallery
Established in 2013 by Taipei-based IT entrepreneur Elsa Wang, the gallery has earned a reputation for fostering self-expression among artists across various forms, with a distinctive emphasis on the convergence of technology and art. With successful ventures in Taipei's city centre and a notable presence in The Bund, Shanghai, Bluerider ART recently expanded its cultural footprint to Mayfair, London. The new gallery space, situated within a historic building dating back to 1715, provides a captivating backdrop for art enthusiasts, collectors, and global visitors.
Over the past decade, Bluerider ART has collaborated with over 50 international contemporary artists, showcasing a diverse roster that reflects the gallery's commitment to introducing artists with independent formation.
1839 Contemporary Gallery
What is 1839 Contemporary? It refers to “from the invention of photography in 1839 to the present.” To help more people deeply understand, love, and appreciate photography, the gallery’s operating philosophy is to be based in Taiwan, look globally, and promote photographic art.
1839 Contemporary Gallery was officially established in April 2009, boasting a spacious exhibition space of 150 square meters. Located in the eastern district of Taipei, the gallery is conveniently situated near notable landmarks such as the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, fashionable department stores, and the Taipei Arena. As a dedicated space for photographic art, we have introduced renowned international photographers to exhibit in Taiwan. Over the past 15 years, we have hosted over a hundred solo exhibitions by international photography masters from the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, and Taiwan. Notable photographers include Michael Kenna, Christopher Burkett, Jock Sturges, Michael Wolf, Ken Kitano, and Daido Moriyama.

The Mingshan Art team has been involved in Taiwan’s gallery industry since 1989. And has been nearly 30 years. In 2008, Mingshan Art was officially established. The most important goal of the gallery was inheriting art and culture. We also believe the quotes of Sima Qian, “Hiding the works in the mountain and passing to those who have a common goal”.And now we focus on modern and contemporary Chinese artists. Mingshan Art had been dedicating to the promotion of Chinese woodblock arts, and have achieved great successes. ESLITE GALLERY
In 1989, ESLITE GALLERY was founded along with the eslite bookstore in Taipei. It was the first to dedicate itself to contemporary and modern Chinese art in Taiwan. The gallery represents major international artists as well as rising young artists from Greater China, including Cai Guo-Qiang, Liu Xiaodong, Michael Lin, Zhan Wang, Xu Bing, Su-Mei Tse, Kuang-Yu Tsui and Wong Hoy Cheong, among others. ESLITE also collaborates with overseas art spaces and organizations to offer a wide range of exciting works for collectors. Some past collaborations include Michael LIN’s first retrospective at Centro Pecci Prato, a Southeast Asian contemporary show entitled “Cigarettes, Coffee, Pad Thai” curated by Eugene Tan, and a CAI Guo-Qiang retrospective at the Taipei Fine Arts Museum.
Caves Art Center
In 1983, painter Mr. Pin Tao HONG founded Cave Art Center from the perspective of an operator and promoter in order to provide a venue for young and middle-aged artists to express themselves. It has gone through the 1980s when Taiwan's economy developed and the 1990s when cultural diversity flourished. In addition to being dedicated to the management of the art industry, it also opened the Dunhuang Academy, initiated the first lectures on folk art research and appreciation, created a popular art trend, published Dunhuang Art News, and launched an online art auction. At the same time, we organize the history of Chinese oil painting and contemporary ink painting from the perspective of art history, and rediscover outstanding artists who were buried in the turmoil of the times.
